Coatings for WoodCHEMTHANE 7030 is a fast cure, 100% solids spray polyurethane for protecting wooden enclosures, audio speakers and other fragile substrates from damage during everyday use, freight loading personnel and exterior exposure.

These coatings offer dry quickly to dramatically speed up OEM production when compared to acrylics, enamels, vinyl or carpet wrapping. Plus, they offer exceptional resistance to tearing, impact and abrasion.

Once cured, CHEMTHANE 7030 has a textured vinyl-like feel. Rest assured, the coating penetrates deeply into the pores of the wood for a strong bond that will not come off in sheets.

CHEMTHANE 1400 is an aliphatic waterborne polyurethane coating that will dry quickly to form an additional layer of protection and color retention. This product can be sprayed into a mold or used as a top coat. It dries to the touch within five minutes which can help improve production efficiencies production environments.

CHEMTHANE 3730 is a solvent free, two component polyurethane protective corrosion coating (1:1 spray ratio by volume). This product has a very short reaction time and is therefore spray-applied using plural component spray equipment. This product is a UV resistance version of CHEMTHANE 7030 for wood coating applications.

CHEMTHANE 3900 is a two component, elastomeric aliphatic polyurethane which offers long-term color retention for athletic and pedestrian flooring. This product is used in applications where abrasion and impact resistance, flexibility and long term weatherability are critical. This single coat system offers excellent slip resistance and it has been formulated to be easy to clean with conventional materials.

Flexible Spray In Mold Coatings

CHEMTHANE 3600 is a solventless, fast set (2-5 minutes) aliphatic polyurethane with excellent color retention, resistance to mar and abrasion. This product is primarily used as a spray in-mold coating for high production applications where fast cycle times are critical. Once sprayed into a mold the polyurethane coating can reproduce the look and feel of leather or vinyl. This is an ideal product for applications ranging from automobile interior parts to off-highway equipment seating and crash pads for amusement rides.

Rigid Spray In Mold Resins

Chemline offers high performance, spray-applied, two component structural resins for open mold applications. These rugged polyurethanes are ideal for creating automotive aftermarket parts, furniture, architectural panels and bath ware. Many application that traditionally used polyester fiberglass can now be created more quickly with CHEMTHANE 7400 Series structural resins.

CHEMTHANE 7465 is a solventless, two-component polyurethane resin for open mold applications. This product offers a very short reaction time (10-15 seconds) which makes it ideal for high volume production times. Finished parts exhibit a good balance of stiffness, hardness, heat sag-resistance and impact resistance. This is an ideal product for ground effect automotive aftermarket parts (i.e. exhaust flares, scoops, etc).

CHEMTHANE 7446 is a two component, fast set, rigid polyurethane for open molding applications. With mechanical properties very similar to Chemthane 7465, this product also offers exceptional "flow-out" to more effectively product molded parts with highly detailed surface textures (i.e. artistically carved panels, artificial rock, sea corals, etc).
