With one application of our polyurethane coating, steel pole manufacturers and utility companies can rest assured that abrasion and impact during installation will not result in rapid corrosion of the under lying metal. Chemline’s Ground Line Corrosion Control Coatings add an additional level of protection to the buried portion of galvanized steel poles.

CHEMTHANE 2260 is a solvent free, two component polyurethane protective coating (1:1 ratio by volume). This product has a very short reaction time and is therefore spray applied using plural component spray equipment. Application of this product is made directly to surface prepared steel. Primers are not necessary. Unlimited film builds may be achieved in a single coat multi-pass application. Cured films are free of pores. This coating cures to form a hard polymer film that demonstrates excellent adhesion, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance and high mechanical strength. Cured films that are between 18 and 30 mils (0.5 - 0.75mm) in thickness will provide permanent and fully effective corrosion protection for many years.
CHEMTHANE 3700 is a solvent free, two component polyurethane protective corrosion coating (1:1 spray ratio by volume). This product has a very short reaction time and is therefore spray-applied using plural component spray equipment. This product is applied as a thin film topcoat over CHEMTHANE 2261 or equivalent. CHEMTHANE 3700 cures to form a hard polymer film that demonstrates excellent resistance to ultra-violet light, abrasion and chemical attack. It is used in applications that require UV resistance and high production rates.
STEELCOTE MCU 2100 Series are aromatic and aliphatic moisture-cured urethanes for Steel, Weathered Galvanized Metal, Wire Brushed Rusted Surfaces and Concrete.
TILE-X 2000 is a very tough, durable, high build industrial coating for use in areas where an attractive, non-yellowing, high gloss finish is required. This product complies with FDA Title 21, Section 175.300 for use in food processing and packaging facilities. It has superior acid resistance making it ideal for use in chemical and plating facilities.
