Chemline has been around since 1997and owns a 140,000 sq. ft. facility. Chemline is an industry leader within fast-set polyurethane and polyuria coatings and polymer systems. We are known for our 100 % solid Tubular Steel Protection, in addition to a number of other applications. You can find all of the products that we offer at www.Chemline.net.
Presently, the Chemline Company is of the largest privately owned manufacturers of 100% fast-set polymer technologies within North America. Today, we offer a large line of Polyuria and Polyurethane coatings for wood, steel, foam, and concrete. Both have been formulated in order to provide elastomeric cast polymers, such as Mold making products and Joint Fillers.
We here at Chemline use just one application of the polyurethane tubular steel protection. We assure companies that they will not have to worry about impact and abrasion during the time of installation. Therefore, there is no need to worry about rapid corrosion with the underlying metal. Essentially, the Tubular Steel Coatings gives an added level of protection.
This is achieved by adding another layer of protection within the buried portion of the galvanized steel poles. The Tubular Steel Protection is abrasion resistant and can withstand a large amount of impact. The Tubular Steel Coating is 100% solid and has zero VOC. The application is applied directly to prepared galvanized steel and unlimited film builds with just a single pass, then finished with a low temperature cure.
You have a number of different options for the Tubular Steel Protection. The Chemthane 2260 and 3700 are solvent free and come in a two-component polyurethane protective coating in a 1:1 mix ratio. In addition, they are both 100% solid with zero VOC. One of the differences with the 2260 is how it cures. It has a cure time of only 3 to 5 minutes and the 2260 has an 1800+ rating adhesion to steel. It has 76-shore hardness and 5600+ tensile strength along with excellent abrasion resistance.

As for the 3700 Tubular Steel Protection, it is an alphatic/UV stable coating that is applied wet over wet on the Chemthane 2260. It has 70-shore hardness and 4700+ PSI tensile strength along with greater than 60 pounds of impact resistance. The other options include the Steelcote MCU 2100, which is alphatic and aromatic moisture cured urethanes. This kind has the option for application on other types of materials in addition to steel, Type I, IV, and IX.
One of the most durable and toughest is the Tile-X-2000. It offers a high amount of durability, in addition to having high build industrial coatings for areas where attractive high gloss finishes are needed. One of the benefits of this type of Tubular Steel Protection is how it does not yellow and yet still complies with the FDA Title 21, Section 175.300 for areas where foods are processed and packaged. Overall, it offers a large amount of resistance to acid, which makes it good for chemical and plating facilities. It has 60% solid per volume and uses a one to one mix ratio, while having a service temperature up to 225 F. Be sure to look up all the products and benefits that Chemline offers at www.chemline.net.
