Polyurethane & Polyurea Protective Steel Coatings
Chemline’s polyurea and polyurethane coatings for steel surfaces are environmentally friendly and offer a fast-setting protective coating. Easy to spray, tough and durable, Chemline’s steel coating systems offer significant advantages over paint and other coatings.
Polyurethane and polyurea protective steel coatings can be used in applications such as water tank lining, coatings for steel pipe, truck beds and underbodies.
Primers
Chemprime 3550 – two-component polyurethane for steel (if necessary) that can be brushed, rolled, or sprayer applied. In a thin film application, it provides great adhesion to steel substrates.
Polyurethane Systems
Chemline 4200 PW – a 1:1, fast set spray applied two-component polyurethane system. Approved by UL to comply with ANSI/NSF 61 standard for potable water use.
Chemline 2261 – a 1:1, fast set spray applied polyurethane coating that can be applied directly to properly prepared steel without a primer.
Chemline 2265 – a 1:1, fast set spray applied two-component polyurethane system. Approved by UL to comply with ANSI/NSF 61 standard for potable water use and meets the AWWA C-222-08 Specification.
Chemline 3107 – a high solids, self-priming, direct to metal aliphatic polyurethane coating for steel.
Chemline 3700 – a fast set spray applied two-component, aliphatic polyurethane topcoat. Generally applied over Chemline 2261 or 2265 to provide a UV resistant topcoat.
Aliphatic Systems
Chemline 3710 - a two-component, high solid, color stable polyaspartic, that has excellent physical properties and UV resistance. Ideal when applied direct to concrete or as a finish coat over an aromatic sprayed system. High Shore D hardness and lower elongation than 3725.
Chemline 3725 - a two-component, high solids, color stable polyaspartic, that has excellent physical properties and UV resistance. Ideal when applied direct to concrete or as a finish coat over an aromatic sprayed system.
Chemline 3775 – 1:1, fast set spray applied, color stable aliphatic polyurea with varying physical properties.
Chemline 3795 – 1:1, fast set spray applied, color stable aliphatic polyurea with varying physical properties.
